Abel Estate occupies two hectares of what used to be the Abel & Co Vineyard near Kumeu, renowned for its Pinot Noir. Next to a lake, there are plenty of open spaces and shade trees making it ideal for outdoor activities such as team building. The original winery is now the main venue building, adding further to Abel Estate’s character.

A Fresh Look
A major upgrade of facilities was completed at the venue in September 2022, giving it a new, fresh and spacious feel.
Bathrooms in the Winery Room have been moved, opening up the venue to the gorgeous views of surrounding vines and trees. The available floor space has increased by a third. A new bar has been installed, dressed in back-lit translucent Onyx stone.
While outdoors, a paved area near the lake has been added, giving a new outdoor option for functions.
